Vienna, Frankfurt, October 07, 2005 +++ update software Germany GmbH, a wholly-owned subsidiary of update software, a leading European CRM solutions provider listed on the Frankfurt stock exchange, today submitted a notarized irrevocable offer to purchase REGWARE GmbH. The offer is binding until 31 January 2006 (24 hrs). Regarding the purchase price both companies have agreed to maintain secrecy.
REGWARE GmbH is one of the foremost suppliers of CRM solutions for companies in the healthcare industry. Founded in 1988 and headquartered in Germering near Munich, the company services an international client base above all in pharmaceuticals, medical technology and dental medicine.
update software will finance the acquisition of the company out of liquid assets respectively through the capital increase executed at the beginning of the year 2005. The objective of the acquisition is to foster update’s leading position in the European healthcare market by broadening its client base, exploiting synergies within the product portfolio and strengthening the competence team.
