Johanniter CRM project on the podium in the Business-to-Consumer category

Project with Sensix and update helps Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe to second place in the CRM Best Practice Award

Vienna, 8th November 2007 +++ Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe e.V. took second place in the renowned CRM Best Practice Award at the CRM expo 2007 in Nuremburg with their CRM project. In the planning and implementation of the project, Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe were supported by CRM specialists Sensix GmbH, who carried out the associated consultation and also implemented the update.seven CRM solution from update software AG. With this the CRM Best Practice Award has now been awarded to an update user for the fifth time in a row, and to a Sensix customer for the fourth time. The Bavarian regional association of the Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe won the Silver Award in the Business-to Consumer prize category. update.seven is also currently being introduced in further regional associations. “The Johanniter CRM project is a further example that CRM can also be used in non-profit organisations,” explained Prof. Dr. Marco Schmäh, member of the top class nine-person jury. “The non-profit association realised early on that their customers want to be looked after just as well as by companies motivated by profit. A professional service centre and the exemplary Change Management at Johanniter were decisive in awarding them second place this year.”

Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe/JUH is the largest German institution run by a religious order, with 8,600 full-time and 18,000 voluntary employees. The non-profit organisation offers a wide spectrum of services from rescue and ambulance services to further education, care for the elderly and disabled, right up to meals on wheels and home emergency telephones. As one of the first ever non-profit organisations, the Bavarian regional association of the JUH decided in 2006 to introduce a professional customer management system, due to the huge volume of data accumulating each day. In the planning and implementation of the project, the CRM specialists at Sensix provided decisive help. In respect to a CRM solution the update.seven system from update software AG was chosen. Since March 2007, 500 employees of the JUH in Bavaria draw on an integrated and up-to-date database. The CRM solution also provides valuable services in the JUH service centre: The agents are provided with all current information about customers and members in real time, and even during a telephone call the agents can enter new information into the system themselves. After the very successful roll-out of update.seven in the Bavarian regional association, the system will now be rolled out in the Baden-Württemberg and Lower Saxony regional associations. The federal office of the JUH will create around 2,500 CRM jobs all over Germany by mid 2009.

The renowned CRM Best Practice Award is awarded by trade fair organiser asfc and specialist journal acquisa each year during the CRM expo in Nuremberg. It distinguishes commendable CRM practical examples, which can be seen as benchmarks for other companies.
