Natural drugs producer Pascoe has opted for an update.seven Pharma CRM solution

update.seven pda supports field service in mobile use

Vienna, August 11, 2008 +++ Pascoe pharmazeutische Präparate GmbH, in Gießen, one of the leading drug companies in the areas of homeopathic products, phytopharmaceuticals, vitamins, and nutritional supplements, has opted for the update.seven CRM solution of the update software AG. The update software AG, headquartered in Vienna, is one of the leading European producers of CRM solutions. At Pascoe, update.seven has been implemented in a special version designed for the pharmaceutical industry, but even its standard version includes field-specific processes. All the Pascoe applicants use the browser-based version of update.seven web for their access to the main CRM database. Furthermore, the mobility module update.seven pda is used in field service, and the module update.seven phone is used for the company’s internal Customer Service Center. The update.seven rollout will be completed by mid-December. More than 130 employees from distribution, field service, marketing, service-center, and medical-scientific department at Pascoe will then work with the Pharma CRM solution from update.

The selection of update.seven occurred at the end of a lengthy selection process with final presentations by three bidders. update.seven succeeded in prevailing over the CRM solution from SAP as well as against the system from Cegedim, which has been used so far in an older version at Pascoe. “As a complete solution, update.seven has very well fulfilled the requirements from our comprehensive specifications book,” explains Markus Turba, Project Manager at Pascoe. “In the future, we will use update.seven extensively in our company – from processing inquiries and complaints over distribution, event, and campaign management to sales-, budget-, and marketing planning.” At the same time, update.seven should also be used to assist the Regional Manager at Pascoe - who visits the doctors, alternative medicine healers, hospitals, and drug stores – with order processing, visit scheduling, performing the visit, and visit follow-ups, including daily reports and processing charges, as well as to identify the success potential for tours planning. update will connect its CRM solution to the SAP ERP solution at Pascoe through several online XML interfaces, so that client-, contract-, and accounting data may be processed automatically in the same manner in the future.
