update.seven Strike has perfected Support and Service Management

The latest CRM solution provides simple configurability and SAP-certified conformity

Frankfurt, 22 January 2008    update software AG is a leading European designer of CRM solutions based in Vienna, Austria.  The company has just improved the functionality of its premium CRM suite of solutions, update.seven, with a version called update.seven Strike. 

The comprehensive support and service management features of this version make it the perfect tool for call centre and helpdesk processes. Service desk staff using update.seven Strike can view maintenance contracts, for example, and are thus in a position to respond to customer enquiries on service matters more quickly and effectively. Configurability in update.seven Strike has also been enhanced. Simple parameterisation allows the solution to be adapted to the processes and needs of the sector in question, without any additional expense. This means total cost of ownership is low. Update has paid special attention to user-friendliness in its new product. Coloured icons make selection easier and the operator can make high-priority data sets more prominent by using specific highlighting commands. Furthermore, complete keyboard support means more intuitive use of the web application. Update.seven Strike affords more drag-and-drop possibilities, in response to the demands made of an efficient help desk tool.

In addition to user-friendliness and configurability, update has optimised the ease of integration of its CRM suite.  update.seven Strike can be aligned easily and seamlessly with SAP business solutions, for instance.  For this, update has received the accreditation‚ ’Certified for SAP Netweaver’.   update.seven Strike enables bidirectional exchange of data over an XML-based interface, making workflows, including the co-ordination of service tasks, much smoother. Thanks to the official SAP certification, customers looking to implement SAP’s ERP solutions who opt for update’s specialist CRM suite will be assured of the best possible outcome with regard to integration.
