Vienna, Frankfurt, 26 April 2006 +++ update software AG, a leading provider of CRM solutions listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, has released its audited results for the financial year 2005, which were confirmed at today’s meeting of the company’s Supervisory Board. The increase in net annual income to EUR 2.874 million resulted in earnings per share of EUR 0.28, an increase of 3 euro cents per share over the previously published annual guidance.
2005 net income
The 2005 audited net profit for the year 2005 was EUR 2.874 million (with EPS of EUR 0.28), compared to preliminary earnings reported on 24 January 2006 of EUR 2.588 million (with EPS of EUR 0.25). In the past financial year, deferred taxes of EUR 0.774 million were capitalised, since it can be assumed that accrued loss carry-forwards will be used on the basis of a continued positive business development. The audited equity has increased accordingly, totalling EUR 12.236 million as of 31 December 2005, compared to the preliminary amount of EUR 11.950 million reported in January.
To sum up, the net income for 2005 increased by 10% compared to the net income for 2004 of EUR 2.605 million.
Revenue growth and EBIT confirmed
Both the company’s revenue growth reported on 24 January 2006 of 21% to EUR 18.600 million and the EBIT totalling EUR 2.053 million were confirmed.
The audited annual report will be presented in detail by the Management Board in the ordinary shareholders’ meeting on 22 June 2006.
