Christian Stadlmann is the new Vice President Sales at the CRM specialist update
update on a growth course with new VP Sales
Vienna, July 4, 2011 +++ Effective immediately, Dipl.-Ing. Christian Stadlmann (38) is Vice President Sales at update software AG, the leading European producer of premium CRM Solutions, which is headquartered in Vienna. Christian Stadlmann has been in Sales at update since 2006. In his new position as VP Sales, Christian Stadlmann now manages update’s entire international sales organization with a current total of eleven sales locations in Europe and the USA.
Stadlmann is thus the primary person at update responsible for all direct and partner-oriented sales activities for new customer and existing customer business, and he is therefore in charge of the company’s entire sales orientation and implementation. In addition to update's industry focus, this also includes the regional expansion and the additional reinforcement of the SaaS sales model. “Thanks to its generous CRM portfolio and its unique employees, update has the potential to become a 100-million-euro company in a few years,” comments Christian Stadlmann about his new task. “I look forward to being able to make a significant contribution to this effort.”
In his time at update, Stadlmann has already won over some of the largest customers for the CRM specialist. At first, he was responsible at update for sales in Austria and Switzerland, and since 2008 he has built up the “Industry Solutions International” (ISI) business unit, which he managed internationally with great success. “All of us on the Executive Board are very pleased that Christian Stadlmann has accepted this very important top position as VP Sales on the update management team,” says update CEO Thomas Deutschmann. “To date, he has already built up our ISI business unit with a focus on industrial companies, rolled out strategies internationally, and implemented our new update.revolution business model. All vital steps in our go-to-market approach are heavily influenced by his dedication and commitment.”
Christian Stadlmann completed his studies in Telematics (IT and telecommunications) with a Master of Science from the Technical University in Graz and began his professional career in 1999 at AWAC (Austrian Web Application Center, a company of the Austrian Research Center). For six years, Stadlmann worked at Hyperwave AG – a European software company in the document, content, and knowledge management sector that is also involved in E-learning. He was a Key Account Manager there with sales responsibility for Austria before he joined update in 2006.
