Kärcher depends on the CRM system from update
At Alfred Kärcher Ltd. in Vienna, the decision for a customer relationship management (CRM) system was a very methodical one. Among other things, there was an intensive consulting workshop prior to the decision. At the end, the choice fell on the CRM system from update software Corp. The system, which has been in use at Kärcher in Austria, since the end of 2000 is currently used by approximately 90 workers both in the center in Vienna and in the five Kärcher sales locations throughout Austria.

“By using the CRM system from update, we have a whole range of advantages”, reports Eva-Maria Korbel. “On the one hand, this is the centralization of all data in only one data base in Vienna. Within three years, from the beginning of 2001 to the end of 2003, we added 18,000 new person data records to the database and 70,000 contacts. If we lose a coworker, the data is no longer lost.” Also the possibilities of the management element in sales and field service improved clearly. “The system we created allows for effective control.”
