Description:
This course serves as an introduction to the basic configuration concepts of the update.seven product suite, with the primary focus on update.seven web. In addition to an overview of the architecture, installation and database access, the course covers the concepts behind managing users, access rights and tenants. The basics of the import/export module, maintaining data and catalogs, communication between stations and the dynamic data model are introduced with the aid of the update.seven win administration modules. Furthermore, transport mechanisms (e.g. transferring data model and catalog changes to the designer database) are covered. Each module is examined within the framework of real life scenarios by means of examples and exercises.
