In-depth knowledge of update.seven win and web

Description:
Together with the Admin Basic Web 1 course, this course covers the requirements for working with update.seven as an administrator. Extend and deepen your knowledge of all fundamental administrator tasks and creating configurations with update.seven designer. The focus of the course is on implementing complex customizations with update.seven designer, such as creating filter masks, extending tree views and integrated mask views, and defining filters and analyses. Furthermore, the functions available in update.seven bulkloader are covered. You will learn to create triggers in order to automate targeted processes, saving you significant effort.

This course provides answers to the following questions:

  • What are triggers? How are triggers defined? How can triggers be initiated?
  • What is a workflow? What are workflows used for? How are workflows structured and how are they defined?
  • What differences are there between the methods of initiating workflows in update.seven win and web?
  • How are virtual info areas defined and what are their uses?
  • What are the difference between filters, queries and analyses defined in update.seven win and web?
  • What are generic forms and how are they used? How are generic forms defined?
  • What are wizards? How can wizards be used and how are they created and modified?
  • What are timelines? How can timelines be used and how are they created and modified?

Prerequisites:
“Admin Basic Web 1” or knowledge of the subject matter covered in the course:

  • Rights module
  • Maintenance module
  • update.seven designer
  • update.seven web interface

Basic HTML knowledge is also required.

Methodology:
This course requires all attendees to participate actively. Together we will use concrete examples to implement practice-based specifications.

Target Group:
Key users and administrators wishing to learn (more) about update.seven’s underlying system and how to customize and develop solutions for their own company or customers (for partners).
